Kagetomo used it to create a diversion to capture Hanzo and then to battle against Ippei's Greninja. Weavile is Kagetomo's only known Pokémon. Kagetomo continued on a ruthless path and was determined to use force to become the chief over Ninja Village. Hanzo still recognizes Kagetomo's power and precise tactics, however his prodigy was misguided and determined to use his ninja skills to rule the world. Heidayu followed him, while Ippei, who became the new chief, agreed to wait for his return.
Realizing his mistake after receiving some words of wisdom from Hanzo, Kagetomo decided to leave the Ninja Village in order to train harder, and focused his attention on exploring the true meaning of a ninja's life. The Ninja Corp was disbanded thanks to Ash and his friends. However his rival Ippei led the counter attack in A Festival of Decisions!, defeating Kagetomo's Weavile in a fierce battle. Together they managed to abduct Hanzo, holding him hostage so Kagetomo could take his position as the village chief. His Ninja Corps overwhelmed Ninja Village with their army of Skarmory. During a fight against Hanzo and his Bisharp in Pokmon XYZ, episode 7, 'A Festival of Decisions,' Frogadier's willingness to sacrifice himself for Pikachu.
NINJA VILLAGE POKEMON SERIES
It appeared prominently in the XY series of the Pokmon anime as one of Ash Ketchum's primary Pokemon, voiced by Yji Ueda. He returned, after some years, in The Legend of the Ninja Hero!, in order to become chief. The quest for strength led to a rivalry between Ash and Frogadier with Sanpei and his Greninja, taking the group to the Ninja Village, where power and love would mingle once more. Categorized as the 'Ninja Pokmon', Greninja is a Water- and Dark-type Pokemon who is a frog-like master of swiftness and stealth. He was estranged from Hanzo and trained rigorously in exile on Otori Mountain, forming the Ninja Corps with his subordinate Heidayu. However, due to his excessive thirst of power and self-assertion, he disagreed with Hanzo's ideas of using one's ninja power for the welfare of people and Pokémon. Kagetomo was a former member of Ninja Village, having been an extremely competent ninja who was marked the most eligible to be crowned chief after Hanzo.
